Διανύοντας την περίοδο των βραβείων, οι A-list celebrities του Hollywood έχουν την ευκαιρία να χαρούν τα επιτεύγματά τους από την προηγούμενη χρονιά, γιορτάζοντας τη δημιουργική τους πορεία με τους υπόλοιπους συναδέλφους τους. Πριν από λίγες ώρες έλαβαν χώρα στο Λος Άντζελες τα τηλεοπτικά βραβεία Emmy, όπου οι αγαπημένοι μας τηλεοπτικοί ήρωες τιμήθηκαν για τις ερμηνείες του, ενώ αναγνωρίστηκε το ταλέντο των υπολοίπων συντελεστών. Η τελετή κανονικά ήταν πραγματοποιηθεί τον περασμένο Σεπτέμβριο, ωστόσο εξαιτίας της 4μηνης απεργίας των σεναριογράφων και των ηθοποιών μετακινήθηκε για τη νέα χρόνια. Όπως έγινε φανερό από τα αποτελέσματα, τα βραβεία σάρωσαν οι σειρές Succession, Bear και Beef. Από την άλλη, η τελετή είχε μια νοσταλγική διάθεση, με πολλά reunion cast να λαμβάνουν χώρα, ενώ ένα συγκινητικό βίντεο αποχαιρέτησε τους καλλιτέχνες που έφυγαν από τη ζωή την περασμένη χρόνια – ανάμεσά τους ήταν φυσικά και ο Matthew Perry.
